Questionnaire

Questions and answers of the students' questionnaire used by YOUTH and HISTORY plus variable names and labels are available as a plain text and as a tab-limited database (92K). It contains the fields 'Question', 'Answer', 'SPSS Variable Name', 'NSD Variable Name', 'Label' and 'Variable Type'. The respective teachers' information is only available in printed form in the book.

Data

The datasets of YOUTH and HISTORY are not available online, but they are included in the book on CD-ROM.

Nevertheless, for each of the four datasets, there is a basic codebook available here, which was generated using the "display dictionary" command of the SPSS program:
